PARK-9 DOG BAR OPENING

Wave began working with Park-9 in January 2023 in preparation for the April 2023 grand opening of New England’s first – and the Boston area’s only – year-round indoor dog park and bar.

To launch Park-9, Wave focused on building a thoughtful and targeted PR strategy, developed foundational press materials, provided hospitality insight and guidance, and connected client to key partners (ex: Polkadog Bakery & Fairmont Copley Hotel).

For the opening, Wave secured a “first look exclusive” with Boston Magazine, followed by outreach to media outlets in the local, regional, and national markets. The thoughtfully curated grand opening launch plan also included: advisement on pre-opening Friends & Family and Hospitality Industry evenings, Influencer & Media Preview attended by nearly 100 humans and 30+ dogs, “Leash” Cutting Ceremony for local officials, and post-opening media and influencer visits for additional first-person experiences.
